About the Role
Waymo is seeking a Product Manager to drive the rollout of its rider-only autonomous driving service in London and other UK cities. This role involves defining the roadmap for service expansion and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive on-the-ground execution of Waymo’s rider-only service enablement and rollout in London and other cities in the UK
- →Define the roadmap for service expansion in the UK by working cross-functionally with strategy, business development, product, and operations teams
- →Develop a deep understanding of local market and rider requirements and funnel this information back into the broader product and engineering teams
- →Liaise with local partners on product/service integration requirements
- →Be the first point of contact for tackling any product challenges in the local market and work closely with the appropriate teams on expedient resolution
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- ✓10+ years of combined experience in product management (or related discipline) and software engineering
- ✓Experience in launching and scaling highly complex products or services in the UK
- ✓Experience balancing a complex set of priorities across the product lifecycle (development to commercialization)
- ✓Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders (consumers, vendors, partners)
