About the Role

The Perception team at Waymo builds systems that learn the spatial-temporal representation and semantic meanings of the surrounding environment for autonomously driving vehicles. This role involves developing ML methods to scale and improve tasks, analyzing ML system behavior, and monitoring systems in production.

Key Responsibilities

• →Own tasks in the ML Driver, taking responsibility for task scaling and performance
• →Analyze behavior of ML systems in real-world applications
• →Monitor ML systems in production and develop methods for detecting issues
• →Develop and maintain metrics for ADV relevant issues
