About the Role
Waymo is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join the AI Foundations team, focusing on developing machine learning solutions for autonomous driving. This role involves building state-of-the-art Foundation Models and contributing to end-to-end evaluation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with a creative team to build state-of-the-art Foundation Models used throughout Waymo’s systems
- →Drive the development of end-to-end evaluation systems and benchmarks for Waymo Foundation models
- →Partner with cross-functional teams to land innovative tech in production
- →Implement and extend large-scale data and evaluation pipelines
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field
- ✓Experience in ML engineering and applied Deep Learning
- ✓Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- ✓Proficient programming skills in Python, C/C++
