About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to join Waymo's mission-driven team responsible for bringing fully autonomous driving technology to market. This role involves orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo's technology forward.
Key Responsibilities
- →Set the roadmap for evaluating the Waymo driver in new regions, with new vehicle platforms and new countries
- →Understand our users and leverage simulation and on-road data to make decisions
- →Work with data scientists, engineers, and machine learning practitioners to evaluate safety and quality
- →Land features throughout simulation to increase signal and improve learning
- →Work closely with Onboard developers to build sim & eval products
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
- ✓5+ years experience working on AV, Robotics, or products that utilize Machine Learning or AI
- ✓Experience in analytical roles or AI / ML roles, interacting with data scientists
- ✓Experience working with regulators and data compliance
- ✓Deep understanding of driving, vehicles, and rules of the road
- ✓Ability to think about long-term product vision and decompose it into actionable plans
