About the Role
We are looking for a Trip Platform Team Lead to join Waymo's autonomous driving technology company. This role involves leading a team to build and scale Waymo's core trip platform to support high-growth use cases like ride-hailing and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead a growing team of 5-6 junior and senior engineers to implement and scale Waymo's core trip platform
- →Design and implement partner facing API services for various customer-hailing scenarios
- →Collaborate with external partners to jointly build great Waymo experiences on 3rd party platforms
- →Develop expertise in and make use of various Google technologies
Requirements
- ✓BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- ✓6+ years of experience programming in backend coding languages
- ✓2+ years of people management experience
- ✓Technical leader experience
- ✓Experience in building backend applications and API
