About the Role
We are looking for a mission-driven DevSecOps Engineer to build a world-class, resilient, and secure engineering ecosystem at webAI. This is a rare greenfield opportunity to design and implement core security systems from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and operate core infrastructure for webAI’s security program, including observability, detection, and protection platforms
- →Lead implementation of a unified logging and SIEM solution using Datadog
- →Build and maintain an automated Public Asset Inventory
- →Embed security into CI/CD pipeline with SAST, SCA, and DAST tooling
- →Deploy runtime protection tooling for containerized workloads
- →Act as a senior security partner to engineering teams
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE
- ✓Demonstrated success building security systems from the ground up
- ✓Strong automation skills with Python, Go, or similar
- ✓Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- ✓Strong cloud security experience, ideally in AWS
- ✓Experience securing containerized workloads (ECS and/or Kubernetes)
- ✓Solid understanding of security fundamentals including threat modeling, incident response, and runtime security
