About the Role

Wellmark, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Digital Services Software Engineer to lead development for their Digital Services team. This is a fully remote position available to candidates residing anywhere in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead full stack development for the Digital Services team
→Perform detailed systems analysis and implementation of high performing software solutions
→Guide the team in design, development, code testing, and debugging
→Orchestrate cross-functional end-to-end execution across diverse platforms
→Work closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, architects, and DevOps engineers
→Develop and optimize web pages for maximum speed, accessibility, and scalability
→Develop and optimize backend architecture ensuring scalability, performance, and security
→Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices
→Ensure mobile responsiveness of applications
→Provide production support including root cause analysis and break-fix resolution
→Contribute to a collaborative agile environment including PI Planning and retrospectives

Requirements

✓Experience in full stack development
✓Strong systems analysis and implementation skills
✓Knowledge of emerging technologies
✓Familiarity with SDLC and SAFe methodology
✓Experience working with UX/UI designers, product managers, architects, and DevOps engineers
✓Ability to develop and optimize web pages and backend architecture
✓Strong coding skills with attention to best practices
✓Experience with production support and root cause analysis
✓Experience in agile environments including PI Planning and retrospectives
