About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join Welltech, a global wellness company with 25.5 million users. You'll design and support APIs, manage cloud infrastructure, and collaborate across teams to deliver personalized wellness features.
Key Responsibilities
- →Spearhead development of a user-centric initiative with product, engineering, and data teams
- →Contribute to designing reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems for millions of users
- →Integrate AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3) to build serverless solutions
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, data experts, and content teams
- →Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with a focus on continuous improvement
- →Contribute to team success by sharing knowledge and fostering constructive discussions
Requirements
- ✓Strong Python skills and experience with relational databases
- ✓Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation)
- ✓Experience with Postgres and ORMs like SQLAlchemy
- ✓Product mindset with ability to translate user needs into impactful features
- ✓Strong English communication skills for working with international teams
