About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Engineer to join Welltech, a global wellness company with 25.5 million users. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to enhance the Yoga-Go application, focusing on Domain-Driven Design and cross-functional product development.
Key Responsibilities
- →Take technical ownership of the team’s codebase and production systems
- →Lead the design and development of high-quality mobile solutions with a focus on architecture
- →Drive end-to-end delivery by translating complex needs into robust technical solutions
- →Shape the architecture and system design of the mobile application
- →Influence technical direction through code reviews and design discussions
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, frontend, and product teams
- →Mentor and support other engineers, fostering technical growth
- →Work hands-on with Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, and Jetpack libraries
- →Identify opportunities for technical improvements and drive initiatives
- →Deliver high-impact features in a customer-centric environment
Requirements
- ✓Solid experience with Kotlin, including coroutines, networking, and performance optimization
- ✓Experience with Jetpack Compose and modular UI architectures
- ✓Excellent understanding of architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, DI)
- ✓Ability to manage risks and propose efficient solutions
- ✓Experience with design for testability and automated tests
- ✓Strong ability to design for reliability, scalability, and performance
- ✓Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling
- ✓Product-minded approach with a bias for pragmatic solutions
