About the Role
We are looking for English into Chinese (Traditional) linguists to join our team for a global client. These linguists will take ownership of translation work and contribute to the success of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- βTranslate and review marketing and product content from English into Chinese (Traditional)
- βEnsure original meaning is conveyed clearly to the target audience
- βWork with XTM CAT Tool
- βMaintain a capacity of 5,000+ words per week
Requirements
- βMinimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in marketing and product
- βProficient in marketing and product expertise
- βWell-versed in various translation & terminology tools
- βExcellent communications skills in English (spoken and written)
- βNative fluency in Chinese (Traditional)
- βDegree in linguistics, translation or equivalent experience
- βAble to follow instructions, including character restrictions
- βAble to communicate effectively the rationale behind translation choices
- βAble to both translate and review content
