About the Role
We are looking for a German Music Content Specialist to join our team at Welo Data. This role involves analyzing music lyrics content, transcribing lyrics, proofreading, editing, and quality control of lyrics, as well as analyzing music and artist metadata.
Key Responsibilities
- →Transcribe lyrics for high-priority content
- →Verify lyric accuracy on content sourced from partners, ensuring it meets the provided standards
- →Maintain time-sync coverage for the top 80% of plays
- →Polish top albums in the local market each week
- →Polish albums/tracks featured in campaigns
- →Maintain polishing coverage for the top 80% of plays
- →Make edits to the metadata when needed
- →Curate top artists in the local market each week
- →Polish artist pages featured in campaigns
- →Make edits to the metadata when needed
Requirements
- ✓Native proficiency in German is a must
- ✓Candidates having any linguistic background or previous experience transcribing lyrics in German will be a plus
- ✓Passionate about music and media and well-versed in pop culture and music history
- ✓Knowledgeable in artist discography
- ✓Highly detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking in a dynamic environment
- ✓Excellent research skills
- ✓Ambitious, works well both independently and with a team
- ✓Focused, upbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented with a positive attitude
- ✓Thorough knowledge of macOS is preferred
- ✓Must be currently located in Spain
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree and experience working with music, metadata, and content management (preferred)
