About the Role
The Vendor Project Manager provides leadership to Welocalize employees working onsite on client premises to ensure successful project execution. This role serves as a liaison between Welocalize and clients to meet their needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- →Coordinate testing efforts and schedule resources for projects in multiple locations
- →Meet with clients to discuss briefs, policies, deadlines, and resource planning
- →Collaborate with project managers, testers, and producers to maintain testing schedules
- →Establish and maintain tracking processes for attendance, schedules, and performance
- →Manage candidate selection, onboarding, and training for testers and reviewers
- →Provide technical and linguistic guidance to improve team performance
- →Compile and maintain training materials and operating guidelines
- →Respond to team scheduling requests and address work-related issues
- →Gather feedback from testers and clients to identify areas for improvement
- →Work with client managers to streamline localization processes
- →Report to Welocalize management about onsite activities and team performance
Requirements
- ✓2+ years experience in QA, localization, or globalization industry
- ✓Bachelor's degree in language, linguistics, HR, management, or related field
- ✓Excellent command of written and spoken English
- ✓People management experience
- ✓High level of integrity and discretion
- ✓Conflict management and mediation skills
- ✓Ability to think strategically and stay calm under pressure
- ✓Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
- ✓Experience providing individual and group trainings
- ✓In-depth knowledge of OS X, iOS, iWork, iCloud, iTunes, Windows, MS Office
