About the Role
We are seeking a Chinese (Taiwan) Translation Reviewer to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and technical precision of translated content. This role involves performing quality checks and linguistic validation on datasets to meet high-quality standards for localized model performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Perform comprehensive linguistic quality checks to ensure translations are grammatically correct and contextually accurate
- →Identify and categorize linguistic errors according to specific safety and quality guidelines
- →Provide clear and concise explanations for required changes to improve translation models or initial translators
Requirements
- ✓Native or professional fluency in English (C1/C2 level) and Chinese (Taiwan)
- ✓Strong cultural familiarity with Taiwanese nuances, social norms, and regional linguistic variations
- ✓High attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks
- ✓Familiarity with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools or internal annotation platforms
- ✓Strong web search skills to verify localized terminology and cultural references
- ✓Writing excellence in target language and ability to provide clear, actionable feedback
- ✓Prior professional experience in translation, data annotation, or content localization is beneficial
