About the Role
We are seeking a Next-Gen Hard-Disk Drive Automation Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the Next Gen Smart & Sustainable Factory for data storage products. This is an opportunity to lead automation projects that revolutionize HDD manufacturing and engage the Gen-Z workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with functional teams to understand business and operations challenges
- →Identify opportunities to apply robotic process automation to improve manufacturing processes, increase productivity, and ensure product quality
- →Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to develop, test, and deploy new automation solutions
- →Apply RPA to reduce routine and repetitive tasks, improving operations flexibility, efficiency, and process simplification
- →Prepare technical specifications and RFQ for automation tools and machines
- →Coordinate and manage suppliers/integrators for automation design, build, and testing
- →Review and control project budget, cost breakdown, and investment ROI
- →Monitor project schedule, follow up on open issues, and ensure on-time delivery, FAT/SAT, and buy-off
Requirements
- ✓Experience with robotic process automation and automation tools
- ✓Strong project management skills
- ✓Ability to prepare technical specifications and RFQs
- ✓Experience coordinating with suppliers and integrators
- ✓Knowledge of budget control and investment ROI
