About the Role
We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe. You will design and scale the core infrastructure that powers large language model applications across the company, working with machine learning scientists to bring cutting-edge models into production.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the infrastructure powering LLMs across critical business surfaces
- →Create robust and scalable LLM evaluation frameworks
- →Deploy RAG systems and MCP servers to ground LLM responses in business context
- →Design efficient human-in-the-loop feedback pipelines
- →Bridge the gap between research and production
- →Take on new technical challenges as we scale AI
Requirements
- ✓4+ years of professional experience developing machine learning systems
- ✓3+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- ✓1+ years of experience with Python
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch
- ✓Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS Sagemaker, Lambda, Kinesis
- ✓Exceptional documentation and communication skills
