About the Role
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join Whatnot, the largest live shopping platform in North America and Europe. This role focuses on building and maintaining systems that power performance marketing across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and maintain data pipelines for marketing data from platforms like Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and AppsFlyer
- →Create automation tools for bidding, budget pacing, creative rotation, and campaign experimentation
- →Implement attribution/tracking logic for MMP, SKAN, postbacks, conversion windows, deduplication, and incrementality
- →Partner with Growth, Marketing, and Data teams to develop shippable systems
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer
- ✓Hands-on experience supporting performance marketing
- ✓Strong understanding of paid media platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads
- ✓Practical experience with AppsFlyer or similar MMPs
- ✓Solid grasp of attribution models, conversion tracking, and event schemas
- ✓Strong backend skills with Python, Java, Go, or similar languages
- ✓Experience with data systems including SQL, warehouses, ETL/ELT, and streaming
