About the Role

The Business Operations Tooling team is focused on building and improving essential tools for operational teams at Wise. The Backend Engineer will define the product and build tooling to increase operations team capacity and improve service value for business customers. Initial projects involve data integration and building alerting mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop a collection of tools including automated data population in Salesforce and an internal product for suspended accounts alerting
→Participate actively in product definition and roadmap development
→Export data from Wise's internal systems to support tooling and work with API endpoints
→Implement solutions to automate time-intensive operational jobs

Requirements

✓Proficiency in backend development and API design
✓Experience with database technologies and integrating with third-party platforms like Salesforce
✓Strong hands-on experience with Java (8+) and Spring Framework
✓Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
