About the Role
The Servicing Platform team at Wise is seeking a Java Developer to join their mission of building effective risk management solutions for customers and partners. This role involves working on a highly reliable and scalable Risk Engine, Feature Store, and Identity Linking solutions for real-time transaction monitoring and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work independently, taking end-to-end ownership of customer problems and driving projects to successful outcomes
- →Collaborate daily with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, and other product teams
- →Propose and implement technical solutions that optimize for both latency and throughput
- →Contribute to building a financial crime prevention platform that safeguards customers against fraud
- →Help scale up and build a world-class money transfer product by tackling technical challenges
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of experience with Java or another JVM-based language
- ✓Proficiency in the Spring framework and a deep understanding of JDBC and database internals
- ✓Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed and concurrent systems
- ✓Experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design
- ✓Commitment to writing testable, high-quality code and following best coding practices
- ✓Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
