About the Role
We are looking for a top-notch Detection Software Engineer to join our Threat Research team at Wiz, a leading cloud security startup. In this role, you will work on developing the Wiz Runtime Sensor, a world-class runtime security solution that affects some of the largest cloud workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work on a world-class runtime security solution affecting some of the largest cloud workloads
- →Collaborate with engineering and research teams to enable new and better threat detection capabilities
- →Build and extend our research infrastructure, automated testing infrastructure, and release processes
- →Conduct research and develop new detection capabilities from concept to implementation
- →Analyze, debug, and solve problems in test, staging, and production environments
- →Create and enforce best practices and security policies
- →Work with customers in response to requests and questions when needed
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience in software engineering
- ✓3+ years of experience in cloud-based development, with familiarity with cloud services, Kubernetes, cloud environment architecture, and major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- ✓Deep knowledge of OS internals (Windows/Linux) and networking
- ✓Experience delivering real-world impact on products affecting customers
- ✓The ability to learn independently, be self-driven, and goal-oriented
- ✓Excellent communication and teamwork skills
