About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Warner Music Group. This role involves reimagining and implementing the future of tech for the music industry, working on innovative products, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary team members.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define the technical vision of key systems while driving innovation and improving quality
- →Write clean and maintainable code in TypeScript (React), CSS, and HTML
- →Help establish best practices and patterns across the frontend organization
- →Ensure quality work by leveraging tools such as Playwright and Storybook
- →Instrument applications with user and system performance metrics
- →Write clear and thoughtful technical designs
- →Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability of frontend systems
- →Mentor other engineers and provide insightful code reviews
- →Collaborate closely with UX designers and backend engineers to design, build, and ship great products
- →Collaborate with key music industry stakeholders and colleagues in NYC, Los Angeles, and Toronto
Requirements
- ✓2-6 years of experience working as a Frontend Software Engineer
- ✓Developed excellent frontend applications using React
- ✓Expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript
- ✓Solid understanding of web fundamentals such as CSS, HTML, HTTP, and web browsers
- ✓Comfortable working on backend services, ideally with experience in Python and FastAPI
- ✓Experience with accessibility, internationalization, and frontend performance optimization
- ✓Developed component libraries or implemented design systems
- ✓Ability to turn static mockups into reality
- ✓Bias towards action and efficient delivery of solutions
- ✓Empathetic and collaborative team player
- ✓Clear and effective communicator
