About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join the Support Engineering Group at Wolt. This role focuses on building the next generation of support experience for Wolt’s global user base.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using Golang for backend microservices
- →Architect highly available, distributed systems capable of handling high throughput
- →Improve system reliability, latency, and observability
- →Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical decision-making
- →Partner with Product Managers and Designers to define product roadmap
Requirements
- ✓Several years of professional software engineering experience
- ✓Experience working with Golang in production (at least 2+ years)
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- ✓Solid understanding of designing and operating distributed systems
- ✓Experience writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
