About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the Support Engineering Group at Wolt. This role focuses on building the next generation of support experience for Wolt’s global user base, including customers, merchants, and couriers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Golang for backend microservices and React/TypeScript for the frontend.
- →Architect highly available, distributed systems capable of handling high throughput.
- →Improve system reliability, latency, and observability, participating in on-call rotations and driving root-cause analysis for production incidents.
- →Develop responsive, accessible, and performant UI components that simplify complex support workflows.
- →Mentor engineers, conduct rigorous code reviews, and drive technical decision-making within the team.
- →Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to define the product and roadmap, ensuring technical constraints and opportunities are understood early.
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling complex systems.
- ✓Experience working with Golang in production (at least 2+ years), with the ability to mentor others and drive best practices across the team.
- ✓Strong hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- ✓Solid understanding of designing and operating low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems.
- ✓Experience in building applications in React.
- ✓Experience writing comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Playwright, Cypress, Go testing package).
