About the Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Design Ops Specialist to join Backbase, a global transformation leader serving financial institutions worldwide. This pivotal role will be the driving force behind the quality and efficiency of our design files and their implementation across R&D and Services.

Key Responsibilities

→Utilize advanced Figma skills including expertise in design libraries, token architecture, components, variables, and theming
→Maintain, audit, and release Figma files monthly, ensuring strict adherence to our Figma Playbook and design system libraries
→Identify and resolve bugs in design files
→Optimize workflows by collaborating with R&D and Services teams
→Analyze AI test automation results to pinpoint bugs and recommend solutions
→Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation and guidelines for the Figma Playbook
→Maintain proficiency in Jira for backlog planning and task management
→Possess a working understanding of Front-End coding languages

Requirements

✓Advanced Figma skills with knowledge of design libraries, library management, token architecture, components, variables, and modes
✓Experience with theming, styling, scripting, writing plugins, automation, and AI
✓Strong communication and collaboration skills
✓Attention to detail with a focus on problem-solving
✓Ability to audit design files against live product counterparts and the Figma Playbook
✓Experience with Jira for backlog planning and task management
✓Working understanding of Front-End coding languages and technical environments of Web, iOS, and Android
