About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team at Workato. This role focuses on building API interfaces and backend infrastructure, collaborating with various teams to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build complex Ruby on Rails applications
- →Build server-side infrastructure for the Workato user interface
- →Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- →Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
- →Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system
- →Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of strong experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications
- ✓Vast knowledge of Ruby
- ✓BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- ✓Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
- ✓Experience with Redis/Memcache-based caching, RDBMS engines (Postgres)
- ✓Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills
- ✓Contributions to open source projects is a plus
