About the Role
Woven by Toyota is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Arene Engineering team. This role involves building a state-of-the-art automotive platform that is 'software first', focusing on emulation systems for testing, integration, and validation of automotive software.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign, deliver and refine systems & software for emulation
- βDesign and implement an emulation platform which precisely emulates vehicle hardware
- βDesign and implement abstraction layers to enable hardware-agnostic software platforms
- βCollaborate with global teams to accelerate and improve Arene software development
Requirements
- βProfessional software engineering skills with experience using C and C++
- βWorking experience with software emulation platforms (like QEMU, Synopsysβ VDK)
- βExperience with embedded systems
- βExperience with software-hardware integration and interfaces (such as SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI)
- βExpertise with a wide range of computing architectures (SoC, MCU, CPU)
- βKnowledge and experience with POSIX/Linux operating systems and RTOS
