About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team at Woven by Toyota, enabling Toyotaβs transformation into a mobility company. This role focuses on accelerating autonomous driving by providing access to petabytes of data collected by our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- βWork on high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to problems in the self-driving space
- βCollaborate with Computer Vision and Machine Learning engineers on high-impact projects
- βUnderstand complex data requirements of modern ML development and tailor our data ecosystem
- βDesign and implement new solutions that increase the usage and impact of data for AD/ADAS development
- βMeasure and increase the diversity of our data, working closely with data scientists
- βWork on distributed systems that serve, process, and transform large quantities of data in the cloud
- βMentor other engineers in the team, setting a high bar for engineering excellence
- βShape the technical roadmap of the team, aligning technical strategy with data users in ML development
Requirements
- βExperience with Python (or other Object Oriented language)
- βExperience building reliable, distributed applications for Data Processing
- βHands-on experience developing cloud applications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- βExperience with technologies like BigQuery and Snowflake
- βStrong communication and experience in cross-functional collaboration
