ā WPP Hiring ā Junior Application Support Analyst š Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India š¼ Employment Type: Full-Time š„ Work Model: Hybrid (approx. 4 days in office)
š¹ Role Overview Provide 1st line application support for internal and external users, troubleshoot and resolve software/platform issues, manage incidents, and ensure smooth system operations.
š¹ Key Responsibilities ā¢ Handle, track, and resolve tickets via ITSM tools; escalate as needed ā¢ Install, configure, and upgrade software & hardware ā¢ Maintain software performance & system uptime ā¢ Document issues, fixes, and maintain knowledge base/FAQs ā¢ Test new/updated software platforms and follow up post-resolution ā¢ Support user setup, permissions, and request fulfillment ā¢ Identify recurring problems and contribute to process improvements
š¹ Required Skills ā¢ College diploma or university degree with 1+ year work experience ā¢ Basic understanding of incident, problem, change, and release management ā¢ Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills ā¢ Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills ā¢ Self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
š¹ Desirable Skills ā¢ ITIL Foundation certification ā¢ Knowledge of media formats and transcoding ā¢ Basic web development or coding background ā¢ Experience in advertising, post-production, or customer service ā¢ Second language (Brazilian Portuguese, German, Mandarin, Spanish)
