<div>The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $70,000 - $80,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective stateβs salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).</div>

You Will Be
β’ Working on multiple client websites and digital ecosystems by implementing changes across technical SEO, content, and AI search optimization in order to comply with evolving search engine and AI platform best practices.
β’
Optimizing for visibility across both traditional search engines (Google, Bing) and AI-driven discovery platforms (e.g., generative engines, assistants, and answer engines).
β’
Expected to retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned client accounts.
β’
Communicating via phone/email with clients on a regular basis.
β’
Strategizing with team members to develop integrated SEO and AI Search solutions that drive discoverability, authority, and performance.
β’
Keeping up with the SEO and AI search landscape through industry research, algorithm updates, LLM developments, and competitive analysis.
β’
Creating reports and dashboards to gauge performance across rankings, traffic, and AI-driven visibility, and to demonstrate business impact.
β’
Presenting your findings and strategic recommendations to clients in order to influence their content, technical, and AI search strategies.
β’
Leading the sales process while calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery.
β’
Working with a clientβs development, content, and product teams to implement changes to their website and digital presence, including structured data, content systems, and AI-readable formats.
You Must Have
β’
2-3 years experience doing SEO work for clients within an agency environment
β’
Minimum 1 year of client facing experience is preferred
β’
Desire to lead strategy for multiple large growth SEO and AI Search clients
β’
Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword research, search intent, technical SEO, and website architecture
β’
Familiarity with how AI search systems (e.g., LLMs, generative engines) retrieve, interpret, and surface content
β’
Experience with keyword research, competitive analysis, and emerging AI search tools
β’
Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and performance measurement across both traditional and AI-driven search environments
β’
Understanding of content strategy, including entity-based optimization, topical authority, and structured data
β’
Experience working directly on websites (general knowledge of CMS such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento is a plus)
β’
Ability to quickly pick up new skills and adapt to a rapidly evolving search landscape
β’
Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to hit and exceed deadlines required
β’
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral while paying close attention to detail
β’
A proactive approach to collaborating with others and managing workload
