About the Role
World Relief seeks a Newcomer Support Specialist - Health to provide comprehensive case management and health navigation services to program participants. This role focuses on helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency through personalized support and community integration.
Key Responsibilities
- →Enroll participants into programs following grant guidelines
- →Assist participants in navigating healthcare systems including appointments and transportation
- →Provide transportation to medical and essential appointments as needed
- →Complete and update care plans to guide participants toward self-sufficiency
- →Connect participants to ongoing support services based on individualized plans
- →Educate participants on community integration topics including financial literacy and digital skills
- →Complete intakes and determine eligibility for services
- →Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and development opportunities
- →Maintain case notes and case file documentation
- →Assist with monthly, semi-annual, and annual grant program reports
- →Update and maintain databases for tracking outcomes
Requirements
- ✓Mature and personal Christian faith

- ✓Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- ✓Ability to affirm World Relief's Core Beliefs and Statement of Faith
- ✓Current driver's license with ability to maintain clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- ✓Bachelor's degree
- ✓2-3 years experience in refugee resettlement or related casework
- ✓Experience working cross-culturally
- ✓Fluency in Rohingya or Spanish
