Who We Are
The Global Brand Creative Team at Weight Watchers (WW) brings our brand to life through inspiring, boundary-pushing design. We arenβt just designers; we are storytellers and problem solvers. We transform complex health journeys into powerful visuals that empower people to live healthier, longer lives.
The Role
We are seeking an Art Director to serve as a key individual contributor within our in-house creative team. In this role, you are the visual architect of the "360Β° experience." You will be responsible for ensuring our brand translates seamlessly across every possible dimensionβfrom high-impact digital campaigns and social storytelling to tangible print and immersive physical spaces. You aren't just making assets; you are building a cohesive world for our members.
What You Will Do
β’ 360Β° Brand Strategy: Lead the visual design for holistic brand campaigns, ensuring a unified "thread" connects OOH, digital media, experiential activations, and product launches.
β’ Digital & Social Innovation: Create high-performing, mobile-first assets for web, email, and social. You have a keen eye for motion (GIFs/video) and how to stop the scroll.
β’ Physical & Environmental Design: Bring the brand into the real world through experiential design, brand activations, and physical environments. You understand how users interact with 3D spaces and tactile formats.
β’ Creative Orchestration: Act as the vision-lead when collaborating with specialists (photographers, illustrators, motion designers). You can direct a shoot, guide an illustrator, or use AI to create high-fidelity comps that align the team.
β’ Print Mastery: Maintain a high standard for print excellence, overseeing everything from direct mail to large-scale OOH, with a deep understanding of production best practices (bleeds, color profiles, and substrates).
β’ Style Guide Evolution: Push the boundaries of our global style guide to create sub-branded campaign identities that feel fresh and culturally relevant while staying "on brand."
Who You Are
β’ Holistic Thinker: You see the big picture. You understand how a tiny social icon and a massive billboard work together to tell a single story.
β’ Expert Individual Contributor: You love the craft of making. You want to spend your time designing and directing the work, not managing direct reports.
β’ Design Polymath: You have a distinguished eye for typography, layout, and color across both glowing screens and physical materials.
β’ Culturally Plugged-In: You have a pulse on current design trends and technology, using tools like AI to prototype ideas quickly and effectively.
β’ Effective Communicator: You can "sell" your vision to leadership, defending your aesthetic choices with logic and brand strategy.
Requirements
β’ 360Β° Portfolio: A standout showcase of integrated campaigns that span digital, print, and physical/experiential spaces. We want to see how you translate a single concept across multiple dimensions.
β’ Experience: 7+ years of experience in brand design or advertising, specifically in an Art Direction capacity.
β’ Production Fluency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma. You are equally comfortable prepping a file for a high-res print run as you are for a mobile-first web experience.
β’ Specialist Collaboration: Proven experience directing photographers, illustrators, or motion designers to execute a specific visual vision.
β’ Spatial Awareness: Demonstrated ability to think in 3Dβwhether thatβs event signage, environmental graphics, or pop-up activations.
Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.
