Modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.Β
Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems. Appropriately apply discrete mathematics, probability and statistics, and other relevant topics in computer science and supporting disciplines to complex software systems. Generalize techniques, as appropriate, to apply to multiple domains. Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders

Capabilties
β’ Writing java spring boot based micro service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
β’ Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
β’ Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
β’ Implement CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Gitlab and GitOps
β’ Agile development and delivery of software
β’ Communication and collaboration: Software Development is a team-oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
β’ TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
β’ 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree, or 10 years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
β’ Experience working with AWS tool suite such as OSS, DynamoDB, Lambdas, and CloudWatch
Required Technical Skills (3 of the below)
β’ Java, Spring boot or python
β’ Microservice architectures
β’ CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, , Gitlab & GitOps; Kubernetes, docker, Ansible
β’ Database : NoSQL / MongoDB / DynamoDB Query and Schema Design
β’ OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
β’ Test frameworks and automation to include Cyprus and Cucumber
