About the Role
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team at EXANTE, a pioneering wealth tech company delivering cutting-edge centralized trading solutions. This role involves owning the full product lifecycle for client-facing trading APIs and defining product roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the full product lifecycle for client-facing trading APIs
- →Define product roadmap, requirements, technical specifications and success criteria
- →Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent API behavior and high performance
- →Maintain API documentation, protocol guidelines and versioning standards
- →Work closely with backend, trading engines and market data systems
- →Support integration with client systems, liquidity providers, and trading partners
- →Ensure adherence to compliance, trading workflows, and best execution requirements
- →Monitor performance, usage, reliability to guide continuous improvement
- →Communicate updates, roadmap status, and technical details to stakeholders
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in fintech or trading platforms
- ✓Extensive experience with trading APIs including FIX Protocol, HTTP/REST, and WebSocket
- ✓Experience working with trading bridges/gateways, liquidity providers and order routing systems
- ✓Strong understanding of order types, instrument types, execution logic and rejection handling
- ✓Practical experience creating and maintaining API documentation
- ✓Trading experience is a strong advantage
- ✓Understanding of both traditional and crypto asset classes
- ✓Familiarity with OMS, EMS, market data, static data concepts
- ✓Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, best execution) is a plus
- ✓Understanding of risk checks is an advantage
- ✓Ability to define product roadmaps, write structured technical specifications, set clear priorities
- ✓Proven experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in complex environments
- ✓Excellent communication skills
- ✓Experience working with distributed or remote teams
- ✓Fluent English
