About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support new product introduction projects and ensure quality standards throughout the development and manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work with R&D for New Product Introduction Projects during and after each development stage
- →Assist sourcing/material groups to find, test and qualify new or alternative components
- →Work in conjunction with R&D in testing and qualification of alternate EOL components
- →Manage factory component qualification group
- →Coordinate with R&D for resolving testing and design issues on products
- →Analyze and recommend corrective action in case of any design failure
- →Compile failure analysis report for giving feedback to supplier/R&D for appropriate actions
- →Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate, using quality tools or similar techniques
- →Provide engineering support for all activities in testing products in factory
- →Participate in troubleshooting and trial run of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- →Analyze and recommend improvements to all production process and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement regarding to testing and manufacturing
- →Train and develop technicians and troubleshooters to perform job correctly and on time
- →Work with test equipment suppliers on proper maintenance and upgrade of software/firmware
- →Identify latest technology and technique on power supply testing method
