With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.</p> <p>For more information, visit xsolla.com.</p> </div> Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP. • Build modern, responsive web interfaces using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. • Translate product designs and user stories into high-quality, functional features end-to-end. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code across the full stack. • Design and optimize database schemas and queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL). • Implement effective state management strategies and integrate frontend with REST/GraphQL APIs. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and UX inconsistencies across the stack. • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning. • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers. • Contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery tracking of new features. Requirements • 5+ years of professional experience in software development. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with PHP. • 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, and TypeScript. • Solid knowledge of modern PHP and experience working with frameworks like Yii. • Solid knowledge of JavaScript/ES6+, HTML5, CSS3, and Web APIs. • Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs. • Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and query optimization. • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile collaboration tools. • Comfortable writing tests — unit, integration, and end-to-end (e.g., PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress). Nice to have • Familiarity with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony. • Familiarity with design systems and scalable component architectures. • Experience integrating third-party services (payment gateways, SSO, OAuth2). • Understanding of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) and queue systems. • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP). • Experience with SSR/SSG and hybrid rendering strategies in Next.js. • Experience with Headless CMS (e.g., Strapi, PayloadCMS, Contentful). • Experience working in distributed teams across time zones. • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
