About the Role
We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our team at Xsolla. This role involves managing and optimizing database solutions to support our global commerce platform for the video game industry.
Key Responsibilities
- βManage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- βEnsure database performance, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery
- βImplement and manage replication chains, partitioning, sharding, and backups
- βAssist development teams with database solutions
- βDrive automation using Terraform, Puppet, and custom tooling
Requirements
- β5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
- βBachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Technology, or related field
- βExpert-level experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- βFamiliarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
- βStrong knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
- βExperience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
- βProficiency in Linux
- βExcellent interpersonal and communication skills
- βStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- βEnglish language proficiency at B2 level or higher
