About the Role
Yotpo is seeking a Java Backend Developer to join our team building the next-generation platform for eCommerce. You'll work on developing and enhancing our platform, designed to be reliable, scalable, and a foundation for enabling other product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- →Participate in all parts of the development lifecycle of critical platform services—from architecture and coding to testing, deployment, and production monitoring and support.
- →Champion technical excellence, adhering to best practices in engineering, system design, and AI integration.
- →Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, tech leads, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful, end-to-end solutions.
- →Proactively contribute to team initiatives.
Requirements
- ✓Strong backend experience and a deep understanding of event-driven and microservices architectures, as well as scalable system design.
- ✓Proven hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, building and maintaining robust production backend systems.
- ✓Solid knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and OOP
- ✓Proven experience owning services end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- ✓Experience with any cloud provider (AWS is considered an advantage)
- ✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- ✓2+ years of software development experience
- ✓Experienced in maintenance and monitoring of a microservice environment
