About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead our product development organization at Zania, a company building agentic AI for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). This is a hands-on, technical leadership role responsible for building and leading a high-performing team across engineering, research science, product management, security, and design.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and lead a world-class team across all disciplines (Engineering, AI Research, PM, Design, Security)
- →Drive execution and velocity by owning the operational cadence of the product development team
- →Provide technical leadership by guiding critical architectural decisions and contributing to the codebase
- →Champion an AI-first culture by fostering an environment where an "AI-first" mindset is embedded in every part of the development process
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of experience with at least 3+ years of engineering management experience
- ✓Proven track record of building and leading high-performing, cross-functional product development teams
- ✓Deep technical foundation with a background as a strong engineer
- ✓Experience with AI/ML products is essential
- ✓Execution excellence with a proven track record of shipping high-quality products
