About the Role
We are looking for an entry-level Junior FP&A Analyst to join our high-growth tech startup. This role provides foundational support to the Financial Planning & Analysis team, helping with financial forecasting, data management, and report preparation that informs strategic decision-making. You will report directly to the Head of FP&A, gaining excellent mentorship from a senior finance leader.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist in the collection, organization, and validation of financial and operational data from various internal systems
- →Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and KPI dashboards
- →Perform data entry tasks related to budgeting and forecasting models under supervision
- →Conduct basic variance analysis by compiling necessary comparison data
- →Produce summary charts, graphs, and schedules for management presentations
- →Document and maintain financial data procedures to ensure consistency
- →Learn how to use financial reporting systems and BI tools
Requirements
- ✓Recent Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or quantitative field
- ✓0-3 years of professional experience (entry-level position)
- ✓Strong numerical and analytical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail
- ✓Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (vlookup, pivot tables, index match)
- ✓Commercial judgment to apply business context to analysis and recommendations
- ✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ✓Self-directed problem-solving and proactive learning attitude
- ✓Experience with Python, SQL, data tools, FP&A software, and AI solutions is beneficial
