What's the opportunity?
Are you passionate about turning data into strategic insights? As a Senior Sales Analytics Lead, your work as an individual contributor will play a pivotal role in empowering our sales organization with clear, actionable insights that support strategic decisions and business growth.
This role sits within the Sales Operations team and reports to the Sales Operations Director. As the primary analytics partner for Sales leadership, you will be responsible for translating complex sales data into clear insights, executive summaries, and recommendations that inform key business decisions. You will work closely with the sales teams and senior leadership to:
β’ Track, analyze, and interpret sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across pipeline performance and revenue outcomes.
β’ Translate complex data into clear and concise reports, executive summaries, and actionable recommendations.
β’ Design, build, and maintain key sales dashboards and reporting frameworks, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across the organization.
β’ Provide clear insights on pipeline health, forecast performance, and sales productivity to support data-driven decision making.
β’ Partner with Sales Enablement and Sales Leadership to identify opportunities to improve performance, processes, and training
As a trusted partner to sales leadership, you will be counted on to uncover insights that drive positive change and answer complex business questions through data.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating independently, combining strong analytical skills with business acumen to translate data into practical recommendations that improve SaaS sales performance.
Requirements
What will I be doing?
β’ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate key sales performance metrics and pipeline health.
β’ Produce monthly and quarterly executive summaries highlighting performance trends, key insights, risks, and recommended actions.
β’ Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales data to inform strategic decision-making and performance improvements.
β’ Conduct analyses to support sales initiatives, market expansion opportunities, and sales productivity improvements.
β’ Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven sales strategies through insight generation and performance tracking.
β’ Oversee key sales performance metrics and monitor pipeline health to ensure data is accurate, reliable, and actionable.
β’ Build and maintain reporting solutions primarily using Salesforce and Power BI, incorporating data from additional sources such as Outreach, Zuora, and internal data warehouses when required.
β’ Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, enablement, and services teams to ensure consistent reporting and alignment across the business.
β’ Partner with Sales Enablement to identify opportunities where data insights can support coaching, training, or process improvements.
What skills do I need?
Education & Experienceβ―
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
β’ 8+ years of experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, revenue operations, or a similar analytical role within a SaaS or technology organization.
β’ Advanced experience working with Salesforce data, including reporting and dashboards, pipeline reporting, forecasting analysis, and sales performance metrics.
β’ Proficiency in Power BI for building dashboards and visualizing business performance data.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
β’ Additional tech stack experience, such as Outreach and Zuora, is beneficial.
β’ Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of how sales organizations operate, measure performance and scale.
β’ Demonstrated experience tracking sales KPIs and delivering insights and recommendations to sales leaders, executives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
β’ Ability to operate independently and manage multiple reporting priorities in a fast-paced SAAS environment.
