The Role We’re looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented Visual Designer to help scale ZeroTier’s creative output across all sales and marketing initiatives.   This role is focused on executing and owning marketing creative from concept through delivery — including campaigns, digital assets, and sales enablement materials. You’ll work closely with the Director of Visual Design and Marketing team to bring ideas to life, while taking on increasing ownership and autonomy over time.   You will play a key role in building and operating our creative scale engine — using design systems, templates and AI-assisted workflows to increase output, reduce friction, and maintain a high standard of visual quality across all creative assets.   This role is designed for a designer who can translate direction into high-quality, professionally executed creative, and who is motivated to grow into full project ownership and system-level thinking. What you’ll do Campaign and asset execution • Create and assemble creative assets for marketing campaigns across channels, including landing pages, paid ads, email, social, decks, and event collateral • Translate creative direction into polished deliverables and repeatable processes • Prepare production-ready digital and print assets Project ownership and execution • Support and grow into ownership of projects from initial brief through final delivery • Organize files, manage versions, and ensure all required assets are completed and delivered • Work through ambiguity by making thoughtful design decisions aligned with brand and direction • Proactively identify gaps, suggest improvements, and move work forward Design systems and scale • Use and contribute to a modular marketing design system (templates, components, reusable layouts, etc.) • Create and maintain templates that enable faster and more consistent asset production • Support the development of workflows that reduce manual effort and improve throughput AI and automation integration • Leverage AI-powered design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Firefly, DALL-E, Canva, etc.) to accelerate concepting and production • Incorporate AI-assisted workflows into day-to-day design execution • Contribute to evolving scalable creative systems and workflows Cross-functional collaboration • Partner with marketing, sales, and leadership to support go-to-market initiatives • Collaborate with product and UX when needed, with a primary focus on marketing execution • Ensure design work is organized and ready for implementation across teams What we’re looking for • 2–6 years of experience in marketing, brand, or digital design (preferably in SaaS or technology) • Strong portfolio showcasing campaign-based work and/or repeatable design systems • Ability to take direction and translate it into high-quality visual output • Demonstrated growth toward increasing ownership of projects • High level of proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, or similar tools • Strong understanding of layout systems, typography, and visual hierarchy • Experience designing for: • Landing pages • Paid ads (social/display) • Email and lifecycle marketing • Sales collateral • Experience using AI design tools (Midjourney, Firefly, DALL-E, Canva, or similar) as part of a design workflow • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills, especially in async/remote environments More About ZeroTier Founded in 2013 by Adam Ierymenko, ZeroTier’s mission is to make peer-to-peer networking with strong encryption so simple, secure, and intuitive that it becomes the default for the internet.   To do this ZeroTier simplifies complex networking across physical boundaries, unifying cloud and edge environments.
