About the Role
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join Zip, a purpose-built procurement platform that helps enterprises manage their spending. The ideal candidate will build out Zip’s competitive strategy and market intelligence program, driving competitive enablement across go-to-market, product, and executive teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own Zip’s competitive intelligence strategy and conduct in-depth research on market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging threats
- →Monitor and analyze competitor messaging, pricing, partnerships, and GTM strategies to identify opportunities to sharpen Zip’s positioning
- →Develop and maintain competitive analysis materials to equip sales and customer-facing teams with insights they need to win
- →Deliver ongoing training and enablement sessions for sales, customer success, and other teams
- →Collaborate with product managers to provide competitive insights that shape roadmap decisions
- →Partner with marketing and analyst relations to ensure Zip is well-represented in thought leadership content
- →Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform GTM strategy and sales plays
- →Stay ahead of industry trends and procurement technology innovations
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, or market research
- ✓Experience extracting insights from data and influencing stakeholders on strategic proposals
- ✓Strong project management skills to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously
- ✓Foundational product marketing skills (messaging, positioning, GTM strategy, audience segmentation, sales enablement, content creation, market research)
- ✓Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with cross-functional teams
- ✓Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- ✓Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
