Role
We are looking for a Courseware Developer to join our team in a hybrid capacity (3 days per week at Bangalore), reporting to the Manager, Technical Courseware Development in the Product Management department.
Build training that feels like doing the job. As a Learning Experience Designer, you’ll turn cutting-edge Zscaler/cybersecurity tech into persona- and task-based learning—ILT, interactive eLearning, assessments, and hands-on labs. You’ll partner with SMEs, instructors, and publishing to ship content that’s accurate, engaging, and on time.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
• Partner with SMEs to capture real workflows and translate them into course designs, objectives, and storyboards
• Create instructor-ready PPT decks that tell a clear technical story and are easy to teach
• Design and develop highly engaging, interactive, modular eLearning including scenarios, activities, and knowledge checks
• Build and validate hands-on labs and product demos in the actual product, troubleshooting issues end-to-end
• Develop assessments mapped to objectives, including quiz items and scenario/task-based questions

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
• 4-5 years of experience creating technical learning content for both eLearning and instructor-led formats
• Foundational knowledge or strong interest in cybersecurity and networking
• Strong writing, visual communication, and presentation slide design skills
• Proven ability to learn technical products quickly and translate SME input into clear, task-based training
• Video development and editing skills; proficiency building interactive eLearning using tools such as Articulate or Adobe (Storyline, Rise, or Captivate)
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Prior experience or familiarity with Zscaler or similar products and solutions
• Experience using AI tools responsibly to accelerate content development workflows
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and learning analytics
