About the Role

Zuru Tech is seeking a Go Backend Developer to join our team developing the world's first digital building fabrication platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and microservices using Go.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and microservices using Go
→Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
→Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the software
→Collaborate with the engineering team to define system architecture and technical requirements
→Provide input and expertise in architectural decisions and design reviews
→Optimize the performance and scalability of existing systems and propose improvements
→Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing among team members

Requirements

✓3–5 years of hands-on development experience using Golang in production environments
✓Proven experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs using Go
✓Strong knowledge of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
✓Solid understanding of microservices architecture and scalable distributed system design
✓Good grasp of concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization concepts in Go
✓Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, gRPC, or GraphQL services
✓Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and caching systems such as Redis
✓Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
✓Experience implementing unit tests and integration tests in Go-based applications
✓Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and clear communication abilities
