About the Role

Zuru Tech is seeking a Go Developer to join their team developing the Zuru Home app, a BIM software for the general public, architects, and engineers. The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and microservices.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and microservices using Go
→Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
→Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability
→Collaborate with the engineering team to define system architecture and technical requirements
→Provide input and expertise in architectural decisions and design reviews
→Optimize the performance and scalability of existing systems and propose improvements
→Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing among team members

Requirements

✓3 Years of experience as a Golang developer
✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
✓Strong knowledge of Go programming language and Go ecosystem
✓Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices
✓Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker
✓Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching systems, and message queues
✓Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git)
✓Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
✓Strong communication and collaboration skills
✓Experience with cloud services like AWS
