2d Character Animator

Exciting Opportunity for CMI ANVE Alumni! Halflife* digital, an Albuquerque Based Media & Marketing Company, is seeking 2d charcter animators for a short term project through the end of April 2026. Applicants should be proficient in ToonBoom harmony and be skilled in general animation principals as well as have specific skill sets around rigging for cut out animation and character and cleanup animation using Toon Boom Harmony premium. Applicants should have 2 years animation experience and/or completed a program of study in the field. Applicants should also have experience with working on teams within an animation/post production pipeline. Experience with Motion Graphics, 3d animation, Visual Effects and Color a plus but not required. Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, ToonBoom Harmony Premium required. Proficiency with After Effects, Flame, Premiere and Resolve also desirable. Job is onsite in the halflife* studios in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill Neighborhood. Lodging will be provided at an AirBnB within walking distance of the studio. Travel expenses will also be reimbursed.
