𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨-𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗿: 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗜𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆?) The European Legal Gateway Office (LGO) is officially open in New Delhi. But as we celebrate this historic bridge, a critical question remains: Is our management ready to handle the traffic? This pilot, the first of its kind in any partner country, is more than a policy signal. It is a functional, 3-pillar infrastructure designed to transform talent mobility into a transparent, human-centric pathway: 1 - A gateway office in India: an operational hub in New Delhi engaging directly with Indian students, researchers, and professionals. 2 - A support office in Brussels: working with EU member states and employers to mobilise demand and strengthen institutional cooperation. 3 - A one-stop digital tool: providing clear information on mobility pathways, visa procedures, and qualification requirements across all 27 EU states. The operational challenge for 2026: Access is solved. Now, the burden shifts to operations management. To uphold #trustworthyAI standards, we need AI translators and leaders who can bridge the gap between high-level EU governance frameworks and the technical reality of global, distributed teams. As we integrate world-class ICT talent through this corridor, our internal structures must be as resilient as the policy itself. We aren't just hiring for code anymore; we are hiring for the ability to manage human-centric technology at scale.
