Android Engineer

We're currently looking for a "Senior Android Engineer". This is a specialist role for an experienced Android engineer with good knowledge of POS terminals, EMV transaction flows, and secure payment application development. ───────────────────── THE WORK INVOLVES → Building and enhancing Android POS applications across the full transaction lifecycle: authorisation, settlement, reversal, and offline scenarios → Integrating with POS hardware and vendor SDKs (card readers, PIN pads, NFC modules, printers) → Supporting scheme and acquirer certification activities → Contributing to codebase modernisation and applying secure coding practices aligned to PCI and EMV standards ───────────────────── WHAT YOU NEED → 3+ years developing Android POS payment applications → Strong grasp of EMV transaction flows and payment acceptance lifecycles → Proficiency in Java and Kotlin within Android or embedded Android environments → Hands-on experience with POS peripheral integration (PAX experience is a plus) ───────────────────── WHAT'S ON OFFER → Permanent role based in Ireland → Relocation allowance and housing assistance for candidates moving from abroad → A focused payments engineering environment where POS development is the core work.
