Job Description - Job Title: Senior Application Cloud SRE/DevOps Engineer Job Duration: 6 Months Banking Domain must Prefer Female Candidates Masters / Bachelors from USA is MUST  Job Location: New York, NY / Hybrid MOI: Video Linkedin Must Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Cloud SRE/DevOps Engineer to support enterprise application reliability, scalability, and cloud modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and application hardening, with a focus on improving system performance, availability, and deployment efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with application teams and infrastructure stakeholders to ensure seamless cloud operations and modernization of DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with application development and infrastructure teams to support cloud-native application deployment and operations Administer and manage AWS cloud environments, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability Harden applications for AWS environments to ensure performance, compliance, and production readiness Perform provisioning and automation tasks to support infrastructure and application delivery Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker Ensure high availability and reliability of database systems across multiple regions Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery Lead and support migration from Bamboo to GitHub Actions or GitHub-based CI/CD workflows Implement best practices for SRE, including observability, monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve deployment efficiency Required Skills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, etc.) Proven experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration (Docker, Helm preferred) Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools) Hands-on experience in migrating CI/CD pipelines from Bamboo to GitHub Solid understanding of database systems and high availability architecture Experience with application performance tuning and cloud hardening practices Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, or similar) Experience in monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in hybrid enterprise environments Exposure to multi-region deployments and disaster recovery strategies Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) Prior experience in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments Share the profile at [Upgrade to PRO to see contact]
