🚀 We’re Hiring: Blockchain Engineer (Contract) 🚀 📍 Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite – 5 days/week at client office) ⏳ Duration: 6 Months Contract 🔍 Role Overview We are looking for a Blockchain Engineer to support digital asset transfer agency platforms, with a strong focus on tokenized funds and securities deployed across Ethereum, Solana, and Layer-2 networks. This role involves smart contract development, blockchain data ingestion, and event-driven integrations with enterprise-grade Java/Spring microservices. 🛠 Key Responsibilities Design and develop smart contracts for fund and asset tokenization on Ethereum/EVM chains and Solana Build on-chain/off-chain interaction layers: Read blockchain state Subscribe to and process events Index transactions and balances Develop services interacting with public and private blockchains, including Layer-2 solutions Build backend blockchain integration services using Java & Spring Boot Integrate digital asset platforms with enterprise microservices, workflows, and data stores Support asset lifecycle events: issuance, transfer, redemption, corporate actions, reconciliation Ensure security, auditability, and operational resilience ✅ Required Skills Strong experience in smart contract development: Solidity (Ethereum, EVM, Layer-2s) Rust (Solana programs) Hands-on experience with: Blockchain event listeners & indexers RPC integrations Transaction monitoring & reconciliation Backend development experience with Java & Spring Boot Solid understanding of token standards, wallets, and signing flows Experience with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows Familiarity with public and private blockchain environments ⭐ Nice to Have Experience in transfer agency, fund administration, or securities tokenization Knowledge of wallets & custody (address management, signing, policy controls) Experience with Layer-2 networks (Optimism, Arbitrum, zk-based networks).
