Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue for the Company.
As a Startup, the Company requires a hands-on
BDM who can operate across the full business development cycle β from prospecting and
opportunity shaping to proposal development and deal closure.
This role is suited to a commercially driven professional who is comfortable working in an
evolving environment, building structure where needed, and contributing directly to the
Companyβs early growth and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales Growth
β’ Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target markets and
customer segments.
2. Client Relationship Management
β’ Build and manage strong relationships with customers, partners, and key decision-
makers.
3. Proposals, Bids & Presentations
β’ Prepare and coordinate proposals, quotations, bids, and responses to RFPs/RFQs.
4. Market & Opportunity Development
β’ Research market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
β’ Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Technical teams to support deal
structuring and execution readiness.
6. Reporting & Performance Management
β’ Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts.

Qualifications & Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related
field.
β’ 5β8 yearsβ experience in business development or B2B sales.
β’ Proven ability to develop opportunities and close deals in a services, infrastructure,
or project-based environment.
β’ Experience working in Startupβs or fast-growing organizations is an advantage.
